Of course racism is hurting the Obama campaign now: the ugly, unreasoning, vile racism of his chosen pastor for 20 years, coupled with the lies that the pastor’s remarks shown in the film clips were not a fair representation of that pastor’s views, that Barack Obama didn’t know about those views. The pastor himself said that the clips were entirely fair (by reprising them on national TV) and called Obama a liar for saying he did not know about them.
Yes, racism is definitely hurting Obama, because the voters are rejecting racism.
