Just to expand a bit — I was a little rushed before — sorry, didn’t spell-check!
Obama could have defused this issue immediately had he responded the way that Micheal Yon suggested he respond. If Obama had said, “Hamas will be very sorry if I become president.” Poof! The issue would never have arisen. What could the Republicans have possibly said to that? Nothing. Obama would have looked presidential and quick on his feet. But no. Instead, one of his minions claims to be flattered by the endorsement, and when Obama gets called on it, he wigs out like a thin-skinned amateur. This issue may not be very big in the scheme of things, but he has handled it like blind shortstop.
