If you don’t have a clue why (after 200+ years of independence and another 200 years or so of existence in which black Americans have either been 3/5ths of a person by law at most or just above nothing–with a short period of “civil rights” after they got their quota of lynchings) black Americans would jump at the chance to be able to vote for he first “viable” Democratic candidate for PRESIDENT (fercrissakes!) then there must really be something to this “white privilege” after all.
Hell, they did not even go 90% until they were SURE that whites would vote for him!
But to no avail apparently.

If excitement over a possible Obama win with the support of whites (tangible “equality” as opposed to the “You’re equal now!” lip-service they have experienced) is the only effects of 400+ years of shameful treatment, then my goodness they’re forgiving!
I am not for Obama, and think myself conservative, but my goodness, this has to be disingenuous!
This is a historic moment for them. It took Pres. Bush for them to really get into upper levels of government like everyone else had been for centuries. Do you expect them to yawn? Seriously? I’m surprised it is not 100% for Obama.
