As a resident of Indiana (and an Obama supporter), and as someone who has looked at the exit polls, I don’t think Obama lost Indiana because of racism. Its more likely that republicans doing something like ‘operation chaos’ were large enough to make the less than 2 point different between Obama and Clinton here. Before the Repub nomination was settled Obama won Republicans by a large margin, now that the nomination has been settled on the repub side, Obama has lost republicans. Anyways, I very much think that racism had a major effect in West Virginia. In the exit polls 1 in 5 admitted to the pollsters that they voted for Hillary based on race. In a race where every point matters, that’s 20 points right there! Of course that’s only those who admitted they were racist. Oh and whoever said Obama’s middle name, why do you do that? If its not to try to connect him with terrorists, because of an Arabic name, then you have no reason to say it. I don’t see so many people going out of their way to say Rodham all the time.
