The so-called mainstream media, who are predominantly Dems, wants to set the stage in the event Obama loses. The narrative is as follows:
Gore lost because the election was stolen.
Kerry lost because Americans, Kansans in particular , are stupid.
If Obama loses it is because America is racist.
Therefore there is nothing wrong with the Democratic Party. The problem lies in the American people.
The Dems and their “reality based community” have become a joke. If Obama loses, it will be because of the following fact:
Extremists, either left or right, tend to not attract majorities. For many moderates, the Democratic party has become too leftist and elitist. That’s why the Dem nominees lose. The Dems don’t see this. Too bad for them. They’ll keep putting forth nominees that don’t appeal to majorities and they’ll keep handing elections to the Repubs.
