Middleman–glad you think that the state government in Hawaii is “Republican.”
As a matter of fact, the Democratic machine controlled all levels of state government in Hawaii for 40 years straight (and they’re still there running things) until the anomalous Republican Governor and Lieutenant Governor were just recently elected, but both houses of the Hawaiian state legislature are solidly Democratic, with only a few token Republican members (House 45D, 6R, Senate 23D, 2R), both Hawaii’s Senators and it’s two Representative are Democrats, and Obama got 75% of the vote in an over wheleming turnout.
So, tell me again how the “Republican government” of Hawaii vouched for the authenticity of Obama’s original birth certificate in their charge.
