The marxist left seeks to gain power by creating, magnifying and exploiting divisions.
For a long time they used class and economic divisions. Capitalism adapted by lifting up the minimum standards of the poor so they were less prone to listen to marxist preachers.
So the marxist left also adapted and chose race and identity politics as the new battle ground.
It’s a political weapon in political warfare.
