Funny. I was just reading WaPo article “Note to Liberals: It’s not all about race” http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/09/17/AR2009091703598.html
in which the liberal author tries to explain to other liberals why conservatives are upset and demonstrating, and that we peons have reasons other than racism (although lots of us ARE racists). The comments, mostly lib, are entertaining. They boil down to the notion that we are obviously racists, but may not know it ourselves because we are uneducated troglodytes being used by the GOP. In fact, our primary motive is racism, and denials are futile, and this is ‘proved’ in various ways.
Came here immediately after that – and I agree, it is really pretty hard to satirize the left. First few paragraphs had me going.
