As do his admirers: profs, college kids, inner city folks, black pastors, his wife, white guilt latte libs, etc.
My co worker, an Obama fan, just told me that they like him “because of his skin color,” which may be correct, but then she added, “we need to be liked around the world more.”
As if she knows.
As if she realizes that we are loved in Eastern Europe, most of Eastern Asia, most of Sotuh America (especially Colombia, where my wife and her family hails from), Australia, much of Central America, Africa, et al.
Too bad the media ignores that. You’d think, if anything, with their love of Africa, they’d note how much Africans love Americans and Pres. Bush.
