If Obama were truly interested in reform he’d show an interest in reforming the specific area in need of reform. Instead, Obama is obsessed with expanding the role of government in Health care. They are not the same thing.
There are only a very few specific areas in need of reform. There is no need or a top down complete restructuring of our excellent health care delivery system. The problem is with the middlemen sitting between the patient and the doctor. Government replacing these middlemen with its own bureaucracies solves nothing and only has the potential to make it worse.
The end result is that I have no trust in what Obama says on the matter – no matter how many times I’m called a racist for not falling into line.
