The saying ‘Liberalism is a mental disease’ is much more profound than the ad-hominem slight it may at first seem.
There is something dysfunctional with the progressive mentality – egocentrism, denial, arrogance, grandiosity, self-righteousness,… all the above. It’s hard to say – perhaps those are only just symptoms of something much deeper and darker.
