Did anyone see the opening of Saturday Night Live this past week? They usually do a simple skit, sometimes with only one person speaking, to start the show. This week it was one of the regular cast made up to look like Hilary, arguing that:

“First, she’s a sore loser. If Obama is chosen, she’ll probably refuse to campaign for him. Or, if she does, she’ll do it in a resentful, half-hearted way to assure his defeat and aid her effort to run again in 2012. Unlike her opponent, Hillary’s not going to lose gracefully. That’s not a criticism, just a fact.

Second, Hillary’s supporters are racist. If Obama is defeated, his supporters will rally to her. Hillary’s supporters will never vote for Obama, partly because she’ll secretly tell them not to, but mainly because they’re racially biased. She’s not bragging, that’s just the way it is.

And thirdly, unlike Obama, Hillary has no ethical standards. Critics agree, once she gets the nomination, she’ll stop at absolutely nothing to win, whereas there are some things that Obama simply won’t do. He’s been reluctant to play the race card, but Hillary’s happy to play the gender and race cards, even if it doesn’t make sense.”

All of this was spoken in the first person by the woman acting as Hilary, though it’s recapped here in 3rd person.

I’m not a big fan of SNL, wasn’t even a fan back in the Belushi/Ackroyd days when it was supposedly good. Thing is, humor is best when it’s true, or at least based on truth. Anyone care to refute any of the above as obviously false? It’s a bit outrageous (she would never say any of the above) but that’s what makes it funny.
