I read in several spots on the web that the WaPo is losing a buck ten a copy. Here is what I don’t understand: what is up with the stockholders? Why are they not at the WaPo offices with tar and feathers and good hemp rope?

I am not a great, internationally known financial guru but I’m pretty sure that people buy stock to hold money and make a profit. Every “news” organisation but Fox is shedding readers and viewers, why do the stockholders put up with it?
