Well, if you are any good with going frame by frame, there is a wonderful time lapse on the ground by Sophia Lena plus a pan over the crowd during the demonstration. Love watching the clouds in the sky as a way of figuring out the time lapse involved.

I don’t know where some folks get ‘sparse’ as a crowd… and the fire dept. obviously missed quite a few people… but if this was a bunch of apathetic couch potatos, then 60,000 would be a HUGE number. What showed up was significantly larger. And you can compare it to the inauguration looking down towards the Wash. Monument… but this on a relatively nice early fall day.
