This the point I’ve been using to see who is full of crap on the immigration debate. When someone conflates immigrants and illegal immigrants they are creating a strawman in order to slander people with claims of being un-American and/or racist when in fact those fighting against illegal immigrants are on the side of those coming in legally and may in fact be for reform of legal immigration, increasing the numbers, etc and simply opposed to a race-based lower class of undocumented sweatshops.
