The MSM has been sitting on stories of the Clinton scandals for years now, afraid to publish them while the Clintons still dispose of enough power to exact revenge. The MSM plumps for Obama in order to remove the Clintons from that power.
There’s a lot of money to be made in writing tell-all books about the Clintons.
Similarly, the Clintons are keen to hang onto power precisely to stop the publication of scandal books by the MSM. That is why, even with the arithmetic firmly against them, they continue to run and run and run. They are just trying to delay the inevitable for as long as possible.
The Clintons stand to continue to rake in big bucks as long as they have credibility and power. That is why it is worth pouring $11M of their own money into a losing campaign.
