I hate to tell you this, but I spotted his narcissism and disturbing detachment from his words in January of ’08. It took about ten minutes. That coupled with his lack of experience and “elastic” policies, there was no reason to vote for him. I am not sure what collection delusion was operating in this country that so many chose not to see what was quite obvious to a number of us out here — and for that we were endlessly derided and insulted.
His disturbing habit of cocking his head to one side, lifting his nose in the air and observing others as one would a bug under a glass, an academic who had never run anything, yet thinks he knows how to do everything. Not working out so well.
