It will be interesting to see if Obama can win the general. It’s worth noting that your tagline says “Tired of political dynasties and beltway sleaziness?” which illustrates that Obama supporters do fit into the ‘elite’ category who can afford to vote on changing how politics are conducted.

Unfortunately, the US is in the middle of a recession and most Americans will be voting for the candidate who they feel can do something about gas prices and putting food on the table. Obama hasn’t even talked about that much. So most Americans will probably vote McCain this Nov.

When Bill Clinton left office he had the highest approval ratings since they started keeping track of that stuff. Higher than Reagan or Kennedy even.

Hillary got at least 48% of the popular vote, and it’s not over yet. Millions of Democrats love the Clintons and always will. However Obama supporters, in their attempts to create the Clintons as monsters have completely burned bridges that will come back to haunt Obama in the fall.
