When I read petulant tear-soaked whining like this, I really wonder what’s wrong with the people writing them. I know plenty of people who’ve been active in anti-war struggles for decades, they’re called anti-american, nazis, almost anything you can think of. I’ve never heard one of them complain about it. At least not like this, not like a teary fifteen year old girl who wore last year’s fashion to school.
One thing I do find interesting is that none of Carol’s public remarks are actually featured here. Of course, Carol, I’m not calling you a liar, but it would have been nice to actually read what people were reacting to, rather than your own explanation after the fact. Interesting.
Finally, when so many people are saying the same thing to you, a person with brains considers the possibility of its validity, if only for a second. It looks like you never have. And if you approved of Israel’s murder of–by even the most conservative numbers–500 men, women and children, who had done nothing but have the misfortune of being born in a place they’re not legally allowed to leave by Israel and Egypt, then you got off light with being called a racist.
