Has anyone noticed that the Obamas appear to be be fabulists?

The famous quotes lifted from Obama’s books about his grandmother’s alleged “racist” incident, and the little speech by his Grandad’s black friend about how Gramps could feel comfortable in the friend’s home, but Gramps couldn’t reciprocate, are so contrived as to be novelizations rather than real conversations.

As for Michelle’s bizarre account about meeting a 10-year-old girl supporter who supposedly burst into tears over a rather adult-sounding epiphany on how unjust America is: has anyone documented this incident? Did it actually happen, and — if so — did it go down as she described it?

The Obamas aren’t the first political couple to “fabulize,” but they appear to be even more eggregious than Bill and Hillary, or John Edwards and wife.
