I find all these comments about the “skills” should matter most ironic as it is these same squawkers who are the first to cry fowl (pun intended) when others say the “skills” should be the main determinant in selecting police and other government positions—where affirmative action rules usually dictate choosing women and minorities applicants over often better skilled men. Double Standard??????
