It does put Barack into context, and it seems to fit what I have seen so far. However, the man is by far the best communicator and salesman in the race. I have long ago given up believing that the truth ultimately convinces people to do the right thing, and I still think over half of Americans will vote for this guy because they believe what they want to believe, and hear what they want to hear. I’m sad to say, I think the Democrats have succeeded in the politics of divide and conquer, and the bottom line is that the white liberals care more about getting their fair share of government regulations and taxes to feather their own nest than they do even about national security. The unions, academia, the lawyers, the big corporate welfare benefactors, the farm welfare benefactors, the social welfare benefactors, and yes… even much of the private business community like the many contractors who have come to rely on bloated transportation budgets for permanent job security with their road contracts (just as one example of how government spending pays their livelihood). The “red state” Americans who believe in less government, individual freedom and responsibility, I believe are now far outnumbered by the brainwashed masses of liberals that we have allowed the public school system and government funded leftist universities to create… as Aynn Rand predicted in her writing, this next election will give us in the results. A socialist President with a socialist congress. God save America, I hope I am wrong.
