Hmm, interesting enough but “Barack” not an African name as the author states, it’s a Muslim one, and he did not get it from his father as a tribal name but as a Muslim one. “Barack”, and I am surprised the media have not picked up on this, is of course a Luo ( his father’s tribe) shorthand version of the Arabic name Mubarak (blessed).
In fact “Barry” shares a name with the Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak.
People are always stressing the “Hussein” of Obama’s name, forgetting the “Mubarak”
