There’s another possibility – a mutiny that replaces Pelosi with a moderate. I still don’t think this would stop a bloodbath in ’10, though.
Even thought there’s a lot of ideological resonance between Pelosi and Teh Won, I don’t think Teh Won would be too sorry to see her go.
