Torture Prosecutions and Obama’s Radical Political Agenda
Arguing with Robert V is a waste of your time, people. Neither facts nor logic are going to knock him off his pedestal of superior morality. There exists within the ranks of leftists a cadre for whom every issue is based on the internal process of self-image. You see it commonly in pacifists, vegans, Prius drivers, and white liberals who adopt black babies. It’s really just moral exhibitionism, but such people lack the self-awareness to understand their own motivations. Nor do such people understand that their politicians cynically pander to this self-image. The case of Cindy Sheehan illustrates the point rather well. She was lionized as a paragon of virtue by the leftist press when it suited the narrative. But as soon as she became a nuisance, she was thrown under the bus. Useful idiots, indeed.
