I’m not sure what happened to my comment, which was that I think there is an element of social snobbery in the patronising treatment of Sarah Palin. This was also evident in attitudes towards Margaret Thatcher, whose victory most feminists did not celebrate.
An inoffensive comment if ever there was one, so I am at a loss to see why it got moderated out.
