The Saul Alinsky tactic of ridiculing people who have a legitimate question about who exactly is this Barry Soetero Obama that has been elected to the highest office of the land, even giving them the demeaning name “birthers”, is quite tiring to say the least. It often works to silence the opposition but in this case, because so many people are truly concerned about the direction this person is taking the country, we, they, are not backing down. We not only want the transparency promised, but we want the same scrutiny applied to John McCain and every other candidate. We want original birth certificate, college records and so forth.
To continue to make us semm out there and say that we believe he is not a legitimate citizen and only that, as a way of getting us to back down, is disingenuous. It is about transparency. It is about what is right. The more pressure I feel from the left in the form of ridicule about this, the more suspicious I am.
