And even if he had been raised Christian, what does that have to do with the beliefs a person espouses as an adult if he no longer believes in the religion? There are 3 former atheists in my church. Nobody holds their old beliefs against them. There are people raised Christian who become atheists. If they commit evil after disavowing their religion, that isn’t the fault of the religion – as anyone with 2 brain cells who isn’t a complete bigot can figure out.
