# 34-JMD – Have no fear. Caltech is aces, (take it from one who paid through the nose to educate my son) just skim through Dan Golden’s, ‘The Price of Admission’ for a glowing testimonial of the school, all the while eviscerating the hallowed Ivies.

This book blows the halo off of the most highly touted schools in the US, most especially Harvard. As a Harvard grad, a Pulitzer Prize winner, and an Editor at WSJ, Golden takes NO prisoners.

What he does point out is this – Caltech IS the gold standard chiefly because it is a true meritocracy, no pay-for play schemes and no affirmative action quotas. He gives high marks to MIT too, no pay-for-play, but they adhere to affirmative action quotas of approximately 6%.

So, while Caltech graduates about 1 Black a year,(the merit thing and all) MIT graduates approx 60.

At the end of this generation the Ivies and most liberal arts colleges will be exposed for what they truly are, indoctrination camps, as opposed to true bastions for serious scholarship. Left standing will be those schools that change their PC courses, as well as the engineering, tech oriented programs.
