You have an incorrect understanding of the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause. Just because a position is consistent with what is found in the Bible or Koran does not mean that passing a law that is consistent with the Bible or Koran is the unconstitutional establishment of religion. For example, I am sure that you are aware that among the Ten Commandments is the prohibition of theft. Is it your position that laws against theft are unconstitutional because the Bible says theft is wrong?
Also, assuming your definition of tumor to be correct (cannot survive outside of the host), what do you say about the fetuses who are killed by abortion after they attain “viability” (i.e., the ability to survive outside of the womb, currently at 22 to 24 weeks of gestational age, and getting lower all the time due to advances in technology). Fetuses can be aborted right until birth (39 to 40 weeks of gestational age)and even be killed with partial birth abortion (with only the head in the womb when they are killed). These are viable babies being killed who can survive outside of their mother.
Your argument fails on both the constitutional analysis and the scientific analysis. Thanks for reading this post.
