I don’t care what you arm the police with there still remains one indisputable truth. Police react to crimes that have already been committed. Those fancy M4′s are not going to prevent crime but I guess the mayor’s whole scheme is to appear to be doing something while actually not doing anything.
Chicago needs to save the money and instead address the issue of inner city gangs and not follow Washington DC’s model of simply renaming them, although that is as about as effective as the Chicago mayors plan.
Maybe he just got jealous after seeing those pictures of Mayor Nagin goofing around with one.
