Bravo and right on. Open confrontation and discussion is the way forward. This country should live up to Dr King’s admonition that people should be judged on the content of their character, not the color of their skin. That’s a two way street.

I disagree strongly with President Obama on 95% of his agenda, however, if he as a Black man stands as proof that skin color is irrelevant to achieving the highest office in the land, maybe we can begin to attain a level of understanding that Dr King would approve of regarding the irrelevance of race to merit and performance. Obama has done the country some good in this regard, however much I disagree with his policies. The way to true post racialism is as you suggest.
