All wishful thinking: President Obama is the quintessential politician. There has been a loss of jobs because it is not the right time to put to work the money he was given to work. The Highway Trust Fund will run out of money in August, something he could prevent, but won’t. It is his goal to time the use of the money to the 2010 election to prevent loss of Congress to the Republicans. Then again during the 2012 election to guarantee his re-election.
Lord help this country in his second term, when he has nothing to lose, though, his support for Honduran and Venezuelan Constitution manupulations may not augur well for our own Constitution’s provisions for Presidential term limits.
