Jennifer’s right about half the time. This is that half. The Republican “brand” has been hosed by a lot of political operatives who aren’t really wonks to the core, but at this point in history, it doesn’t matter. 0bama (and let’s not forget to give Pelosi credit also) has furnished the GOP with all the brand they need.
It’s enough now to be the undonkey. Independents (and in the end, they’re the only ones who matter) are shocked and awed by the audacity of dope. All the Reps have to do now is not crap in their own punchbowl.
Here’s to housebreaking the elephant.
