The “govt” isn’t going to provide any health care. That is what is called “socialized medicine”. And though wingnut after wingnut can’t wrap their Limbaugh addled brain around it, no one is proposing such a thing.

Peter writes: Hey jharp, have you even read the proposed Health Care bill? Have you ANY idea what it contains, before you start quoting falsehoods? Are you even aware that, on Page 16 of the House Health Care Proposal, if passed, would make it illegal to obtain a new health insurance policy from a non-government entity once the bill becomes law? Sure, Obama is not lieing when he says “If you like your health insurance, you can choose to keep it.” But what he is not letting you know is, should you lose your job (like millions have since The Won was sworn in as POTUS) or you choose to change jobs, all you are allowed BY LAW to obtain is Government health care insurance.

And if you have been watching even an inkling of news, we all know how well that is working out in England (where 6 breast cancer victims have been denied further care and medication because a government bean-counter decided it was too expense for the potential return) and Canada (where they wait between 1 and 3 years for an operation patients can expect to get in weeks in the US, prompting many Canadian citizens to cross the border and pay out of pocket rather than risk their lives waiting for the bureocracy to decide yes or no).

How are you going to feel about Obamacare when some government lackey tell you “Sorry, we have decided your 80 year old mother’s care is too expensive to continue and have decided to cut her off”?
