“YO MAMA!” That homey phrase explains WHY Obama took so long to condemn the appalling Jeremiah Wright comments. Obama may have thrown his own grandmother under the bus recently in comparing her private comments on black crime to Wright’s far worse public comments of anti-American and anti-white hate, …BUT, hey man, do NOT ever disrespect “yo mama.”
In other words, as Obama himself said it this week when totally repudiating his pastor at this late date, the final straw was simply that Wright has now directly DISRESPECTED Obama himself by publicly announcing how the Senator was “distancing” himself from his pastor merely for political expediency. Obama was correctly outraged at this imputation of his lack of sincerity in condemning the foolish statements of his pastor, demagogic comments long sold as DVD’s in Wright’s & Obama’s own church. Barack made a big point in his repudiation this week of noting this personal attack on his integrity from his pastor’s grandstanding foolishness. So for Barack, its “yo mama” to Wright…AND good riddance finally! Yes, we all can rejoice in that.
