Living through the sadly continuing era of Jackson, Sharpton, Leonard Jeffries, Herbert Daughtry (another Reverend!) et al, if Obama had taken the anti-blame whitey stance and made it a central pillar of his candidacy, even I would have supported him hands down. But then again, he had his political coming out in a certain Chicago brownstone in 1995 – one that didn’t spontaneously explode.
Too bad…..
