we would like to see some changes in insurance/health care coverage. We pay through the nose for coverage. I had breast cancer , and now we are stuck with the insurance we had at the time..no one else will take us until the 5 year wait is up…it’s expensive and takes a HUGE bite out of income.
That said, TYG we had insurance, the hospital, dr bills etc were astronomical!!! We also had AFLAC policy that kicked in, helped a lot!!! Without insurance we would be out on the streets in a tent somewhere..if we could have afforded a tent…
I have no ideas, but I do not think socializing medicine will help in any way. There will be fewer good doctors. why go into a profession where you are over regulated, not paid adequately for your services. this goes for researchers also.
I agree that we need to insist Washington should be covered by what ever insurance plans they lay on the American public.
