Someone needs to introduce Mr. Loy to the concept of sincerity – how it can the reinforce or negate the uttered word.
There is a big difference between doing something because you have to do it and doing something because it is the right thing to do. Obama, unwilling to subordinate his own personal ambition, was forced to do the ‘right’ thing. There is nothing honorable or commendable about Obama’s behaviour in this matter.
Obama deserves credit for absolutely nothing. It’s clear that his political career should have peaked at state representative, but the unseriousness of the Democrat party has propelled him far beyond his capabilities – and into the ranks of those Democrats who are in way over their heads – like Reid, Peolsi, and Dean.
I do agree that it’s time to leave the Wright behind for now. We should now move on to discussing Rezko… or Ayers… or his voting record. Wright is not an anomoly in Obama’s judgment. That will become increasingly clear to the general public as this campaign drags on.
