Roger is right, this is an extraordinary film that deserves a wide audience. I fear, however, that Brad Pitt and his ilk have the effrontery to imagine that they are living in the contemporary equivalent of East Germany, while Bush’s Stasi listens in on their phone conversations. A wiretap is a wiretap, after all. (I’m by no means endorsing this view, mind you, just passing along what I think they may be thinking — if it can be called thinking.)
