What you’re missing (and I’m missing a party with all the Al Gore types and have to head back) is that Clinton avoided an attack on US soil; tried to do something and the republicans did not support it at all. They called it a distraction. But at least you’re not calling names all day. I suppsoe we could argue this one back to Nixon.

From your post at 141 I guess so: hint: polls are not facts; Try some light reading: republican DNA is all over this recession. The fact that Obama cannot fix it in 6 months (Thinking Person: “wahhhhhh. Are we there yet?”) does not mean that he made it, or is acting irresponsibly. All you have done is whine that he isn’t fixing Bush’s mess fast enough. So sorry: cleaning up a mess takes longer than making it. Leave the cleaning up to the grownups.
