Obama’s numbers are falling because of the state of the economy. Have no allusions that his popularity is on the wane because average Americans are waking to the horrors of leftism, statism, socialism, called it what you will. The American people are singularly unresponsive to the arguments of either liberalism or conservatism. If the economy begins to turn north despite the body blows Obama has dealt it rest assured Democrats will lose little congressional strength in ’10 and Obama will win re-election in ’12.
