To my conservative bedfellows: we really need to cease engaging sheesh, et al, in pointless debate on OUR forum. Pajamas is here for US, not for them. They barge in here, like uninvited guests at a dinner party, then proceed to monopolize the conversation, throwing out one distracting bit of bullshit after another. They engage in outright lies when they can’t think of anything else, and when really pressed against the wall, they start calling us names.
Why do we waste our time trying to reason with these troglodites? They are incapable of understanding reason, logic, and truth. They are completely enmeshed in their own version of reality – aka “wishful thinking” (“quality, peace and happiness” – does it get any groovier than that?). Is it any wonder that a campaign lodged by an infantile meglomaniac based on the fluffy premise of “hope and change” sans any discernable policy was able to convince them that he was their savior?
Like Muldur said, “The truth is out there,” but you won’t find our enemies actively seeking it. They are content to be led like cows to the milking pen – or cows to the slaughter. They truly believe they are going to receive “free” things… and perhaps they will, because it will be the tax paying American citizen who will fund all of their nanny social programs while they sit around in their diapers and bibs, sucking their thumbs and bawling for more, more, more.
They are the ants at the picnic, taking what isn’t theirs out of their own sense of skewed “fairness” – despite the fact that envy and lust are as deplorable as greed and selfishness. They are the flies at our campout – content to constantly buzz around our ears as we try to converse, causing annoyance and distraction. They aren’t really trying to make a point, since there is no actual point to their ideology, which is based on a failed belief system that just won’t die a decent death and go away forever.
Because THIS time, socialism will work – because THIS time, THEY are the ones in charge of things, and they know so much more than everyone else, past, present, and future. And they know what’s best for everyone; and they know better how to spend other people’s money; and they are so much more in touch with their tender little feelings than the rest of us.
Because, ultimately, isn’t feeling good about yourself the most important thing in the world?
So, let’s stop wasting our precious time debating, arguing, and otherwise engaging in these interruptions. They are inconsequential little nobodies with inconsequential, unimportant little lives.
