Also, Wright keeps saying that the Tuskegee Experiment involved “giving syphilis” to blacks. Untrue. It’s bad enough that the participants weren’t told what they had, and weren’t given penicillin when it became the standard treatment 15 years after the study began, but they were not given the disease in the first place.
