I think the real accomplishment of Expelled can be found in the fact that it points out a real flaw in the current scientific approach. The frontiers of science, the places where so much is still unknown – the hows and whys of existence – require the same unbiased attitude toward inquiry as is standard and necessary for science in general. But as Expelled shows to sometimes hilarious effect, bring up even the possibility of a God and many scientist become as close-minded and insistent as any 911 Truther.
