When Muslim leaders claim that the Jews control the world (or are trying to), I suspect their real complaint isn’t that the Jews control the world, but that they themselves (i.e. Muslims) don’t.
Likewise, it occurs to me that if you substitute “Muslim” for “Jew” throughout Solway’s piece (except for the bits about Solway being one, of course), it looks a lot less like satire and a lot more like the truth.
