I agree that he and his fellow Democrats are doing an excellent job destroying the economy. They refuse to believe basic concepts I learned in Macro-econ 101. (For instance, government spending drags the economy rather than stimulating it.)
I go back and forth in my mind on the why.
Hate of country is possible: destroying the economy will weaken our ability to defend ourselves and diminish our influence abroad.
The whole social justice, commie socialist thing is another. Some of these idiots believe the poor are better off getting hand-outs in a depression rather than job opportunities in a booming economy.
Love of Power is possible: The wasteful spending, new taxes and regulations, and healthcare interference all put more power in the hands of the federal government. “The purpose of power is power.”
Stupidity should not be underestimated. It takes a Congress full of Democrats to play along with Obama and many of them are incompetent morons.
The real answer is probably a combination of the four.
