Peaceful opposition, even desiring to split from the country is not traitorous. Even desiring to violently overthrow the current government is not traitorous, if the purpose is to return to the Constitution, when the government has strayed. It is the highest form of patriotism.
Attempting to overthrow the government while rejecting the Constitution IS traitorous. Now, who do we know like that? Oh, that’s right, Bill Ayers!
