I think Gordo is right. 2012 is a long way off but Palin has cast aside the ballast and is now free to launch a barrage against the statists. The Republican elite are aligned against her because they benefit from the staus quo. These people don’t have the guts or desire to take the fight to the enemy. I think we are about to see someone who can. When she does I think you will start to see a reemergence of opposition to the Obamanation from the center right.
