To correct the record on the Weather Underground:
One bomb they were making exploded in their own Greenwich Village townhouse, killing three members. One being Ayers’ girlfriend.
The bomb was meant for an Officers’ Dance at Fort Dix where it would have killed civilians as well as military.
They were involved in some robbery attempt that did cause the death(s) of some, that is true, I’m pretty sure. Mostly they set off bombs.
They were successful in freeing Leary from prison also.
